Handy Backup Pro 1.1 provides professional quality data backup on a single computer or networks. The backup destination can be any type of storage media including CD-RW devices and remote FTP servers. Easy-to-use interface and powerful features make Handy Backup Pro the ideal backup solution for desktops, laptops, servers, and small networks.

The program is designed for Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP operating systems. It can be run as a service on NT-based systems (NT 4.0, 2000, XP). Running program as a service means that the program automatically makes a backup at the time needed even if no user is logged on.

Handy Backup Pro 1.1 will backup your files at any convenient time, restore files from a backup copy, or synchronize them between different locations. In addition, it maintains strong file encryption and multi-choice zip compression on the fly. All backup activities are recorded in a detailed log file.

Windows NT Backup

Handy Backup Pro 1.1 is a powerful tool that protects your data from irreparable loss or damage. It will backup your files at any convenient time, restore files from a backup copy, or synchronize them between different locations. All these operations are performed in the background. You only need to set up the program once, and it will execute the scheduled backups, restores and synchronizations at the time needed.

The main new feature of Handy Backup Pro 1.1 is that you can run it as a service on Windows NT/2000/XP. All previous versions of the product ran only as processes. SERVICE is a process that can work in the background even when no user is logged in. By default Handy Backup Pro 1.1 is started as a process. To start Handy Backup Pro 1.1 as a service, you should mark Run agent as service checkbox in program Settings tab.

System requirements

To install Handy Backup Pro on a computer, you need to have administrative rights. The installation process doesn't take much time. All you need to do is to follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard. There is no need to reboot, so you can run the program right after it is installed on your machine.

All you need to start Handy Backup Pro is:

• Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP;
• Approximately 2MB of free disk space;
• Option "Run as a service" available on NT-based systems only (NT4.0, 2000, XP).

You don't need to be connected to the Internet, unless you want to keep your data on a remote FTP-server.

Registration Process

Once you've purchased Handy Backup Pro 1.1 and received your registration key, you need to register your copy of the program. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Run the program.
2. Go to the Help menu.
3. Select "Enter your serial number…".
4. Enter the registration key provided to you.
5. Press a button to register online or via email.
